The healthcare taker will be responsible for monitoring the patient’s condition, administering medications, and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide basic medical care, such as checking vital signs, assisting with medication, and changing dressings.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and report any changes in the patient’s condition to the healthcare team.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, including infection control practices.
• Assist with mobility and exercise, including the use of medical equipment.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a nursing assistant, home health aide, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a healthcare taker, preferably in a healthcare or home care setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Must have visual and auditory acuity.
